Our Accommodation

Some more information on our Casa's

Casa Barracuda

Casa Baracuda was the resorts first casa, and is an 8 sleeper unit. Private, out of the wind, closest to the beach but the most limited (although still spectacular!) view. This is the ideal unit for an extended stay!

Casa Baleia (Whale)

Baleia ws the first of the 4-sleeper units built. Perfect for a small family or couple. It has a stunning view, privacy and and peace. No one and nothing will bother you in this unit. Great for whale and whale shark spotting!

Casa Guicoli (Sea-Turtle)

This was the second 8-sleeper built on the property. The house with the most beautiful view, right at the top. This unit is the easiest to access for those with soft-roaders or 4×2’s.

Casa Lula (Squid)

Lula was the last of our 4 sleeper units built, and is the unofficial honeymoon suite. Closer to the sea than Baleia, private and an awesome view. What more do you want?

t is important to note that we are in the process of converting to solar power – our generator has been disabled and therefore no longer kicks in when the EDM Grid goes down (as it can do regularly, just like Eskom!) – you are therefore advised to bring sufficient torches/batteries for when it does so at night. We provide a solar, movement sensitive light on each balcony, so you will never be completely in the dark. Also, be sure to charge your devices when the power is flowing!!

Yes, Mozambique is a malaria area, and it is advisable to seek out medical advice from your medical practitioner before traveling to Mozambique.

Mozambique, like any place in the world, has petty crime. So please keep an eye on your valuables. We do provide safes in the units to store these. But Mozambique has very little serious or violent crimes, especially against tourists.  Here you’re truly safer than in most other parts of the world.

At this stage we don’t, but there are many great restaurants around us. Contact us for up to date recommendations!

It mainly consists of highway, with the last 30km on smaller and gravel roads, and the last 5km sand. The highway does meander through many villages, so please keep to the speed limits, and you’ll have no issues.

LAM provides flights from Maputo to Inhambane, and we can arrange transfers from Inhambane. Get in touch to find out more!

There are a few local stores with basic amenities. But should you require something “special”, like a 60 day aged ribeye, please pack it!

Yes of course! Get in touch for the most up to date suggestions.
